organic olive oilWe are constantly asked ‘why choose organic IGP olive oil Toscana’ and about our quest to ensure we remain fully organic on our farm Tenuta Le Mandorlaie in Maremma, Tuscany where we produce extra virgin olive oil.

It can be confusing to determine where and how the foods we all consume are grown and information can be difficult to determine, however we want to be transparent with our consumers.

What makes an organic farm ‘organic’

In order to grown and maintain crops, non organic farmers use pesticides. Organic farming utilises organic compounds in small quantities in order to treat fungal or mould related disease on their plants. The amount of compounds available is small, and as an organic farmer we are constantly aware of ensuring that treatments should only be when required, an no more.

If you want to ensure that your olive oil is organic, buy from our organic farm, we supply IGP Olive Oil Toscana in glass bottles of 250ml, 500ml and 750ml and ‘bag in box’ of 3 litres and 5 litres.
